AmnioWrap2 is a placental-based allograft comprised of unseparated amnion and chorion membranes including the intact intermediate layer. The allograft contains collagen extracellular matrix and a wide array of regulatory proteins including growth factors, cytokines and chemokines.

Amniotic tissue contains defensins that have natural antimicrobial properties.

For Topical Applications:

• When placing the amnion side down, it will directly place EGF (Epithelial Growth Factors) on a partial thickness wound site.

• For deeper topical wounds, placing chorion side down will place VEGF and FGF growth factors directly on the wound to help stimulate vascular and fibroblast production.
